The advice, the wisdom, the fails and the funnies. Things I've learned raising my kids, and things I've learned from the dads who raised me.
I'm in a national contest where the winning dad lands a spot in an Ace Hardware commercial. You can cast one free vote a day. It takes about 10 seconds and verifies through Facebook so it knows you're a real person.
Thank you for every single tap.
On a computer? Scan this with your phone to vote there. If you're already logged into Facebook on your phone, it's even quicker.
Adds a repeating reminder to your phone's calendar with the voting link in it. The free vote resets 24 hours after your last one, so the same time each day works best.
Runs through the Finals (Nov 12). Delete it from your calendar anytime.
New story most days
Short videos, most days. Some are hard-won lessons, some are times I blew it, some are just funny. All of it is about building strong dads and healthy families, now and for the long haul.
The newest story is always first. Hit the playlist icon in the player to see them all.
“On my death bed, I'll never look back and say, ‘Wish I had worked overtime instead of going to my daughter's dance recital.’” Clint Beasley
I had a great mom and dad, but the house I grew up in was pretty turbulent. Because of that, and God's grace, I knew early on that my purpose was to change the story of my family.
These stories are my way of passing along what I'm learning, so maybe another dad can change his family's story too.
